Fly Emirates!
If you have to spend 24 hours on a plane, then you might as well do it on Emirates. Wow! We forgot that flying could be somewhat pleasant. The service was pretty incredible, and things like real food, real silverware, and complimentary adult beverages don’t hurt! Oh yeah, the short term hotel room in Dubai. Unfortunately flying – mostly at night – doesn’t lend itself to photography, but here’s one from the Dubai airport, which Stina felt very “Vegasy.”

Enjoy nice, warm and sunny weather in Dubai. It is nasty here in Seattle, dry but cold.
